On the last weekend of October, Mark, Shriya, and I organized a bar crawl for all computer science alumni and faculty. Don’t worry if you missed it, there are plans for computer science alumni mixers every semester. Hopefully, the spring mixer will be warmer.

Angelo and Omar recently joined Dev/Mission, a program that connects aspiring professionals with opportunities in the tech industry through hands-on experience and industry networking. The program offers practical training, mentorship, and direct networking opportunities with tech companies.

Mark Kim – International Conference on Data Mining
Mark’s research paper, “Foundation Models for Course Equivalency Evaluation,” has been accepted for a workshop at the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining in Abu Dhabi!
His paper explores how foundation models can streamline course assessment processes through some clever engineering techniques. He'll be presenting his work this December– so proud to see him pushing boundaries in educational tech!

ACM Builds Secures First Client! Builds (recap on Builds) has partnered with Minoa, a B2B SaaS company, to help develop client solutions and internal tools. This milestone project gives students hands-on industry experience through real-world software development.
